The EmSAT (Emirates Standardized Test) is an adaptive computerized test that is administered to students in Universities and colleges in the UAE. It measures the learners’ skills and content knowledge in certain subjects relevant to higher learning institutions.

Having been developed for use in determining the readiness of a 12th-grade student for college or university the EmSAT offers valuable data for admission and placement. Because it is a computerized examination, sections, questions, and options are also randomized. Each section and subsection is timed with the help of the computer, showing the remaining time at the bottom of the screen during the test.
