About the Course

The Indian School Certificate, often referred to as ISC, is an examination for Class 12 students, administered by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).

The mentors ensure that the students overcome complex sections and explain complex ideas to them easily. They provide one-on-one sessions where they assist student to identify their strengths and weaknesses in all the subjects. Curriculum in ICSE Class 12

Every student who intends to write the examination for Class 12 has some set of subjects that he or she must complete. In Class 12, there are altogether six subjects and the combo is made up of compulsory and other subjects.

  1. English is the compulsory subject.
  2. The student is expected to choose between three, four or five elective subjects. The School will be assessed internally for a secured passing mark in Socially Useful Productive work & Community Services (which is compulsory).
  3. The student is not allowed to select more than six subjects, including the compulsory subject English.
  4. Following combination of subjects are not permitted:
    • Physics with Engineering Science
    • Geometrical & Building Drawing with Geometrical & Mechanical Drawing

ICSE Class 12 Preparation Tips

  • Check the timetables of ICSE Class 12 and plan your study schedule accordingly. Major topics and typical questions should be determined and every student should concentrate on these topics.

     

  • It should be the goal of the students to finish the syllabus one month before the exam so as to have time to revise.

     

  • If during the preparation process you read all the materials, focus on the subjects that you consider to be more challenging for you.

     

  • Do not have long durations of study without taking some sort of break, one must take breaks but at limited intervals only.

     

  • After you are done with the ICSE Class 12 syllabus make the necessary changes and observe efficiency in study plan.

     

  • One must look at the previous years question papers so that a pattern of questions may be develop.

     

  • Solve as many ICSE class 12 sample papers as possible as this will help you improve on your speed and be able to check your answers.
